Autotrust, a leading multi-brand car service centre under AW Rostamani Group’s Mobility Services’ portfolio, has officially opened its newest branch at Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in Academic City, Dubai. Beyond traditional car servicing, this centre serves as an immersive training ground for future automotive professionals - marking a transformative leap in vocational education by integrating hands-on automotive training within the academic environment to cultivate a highly skilled, future-ready workforce.

The official opening ceremony, held on Thursday, 20th February, was attended by senior officials from HCT alongside Sanaa Ouahmane, CEO of AWR Mobility Services, Nasser AlAhmed, Executive Director of Business Development – Group Corporate Development, Arif Shaikh, General Manager – Autotrust Service, and other distinguished guests. The event featured a guided tour of the facility, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony and interactive test drives for students.

Marking its fourth branch after Al Aweer, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah, the new Autotrust facility at HCT is a game-changer in technical education and industry collaboration. Designed to be an integral part of HCT’s curriculum, the facility empowers students with immersive, real-world experience, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Extending its impact beyond HCT students, the facility will also be accessible to students from other institutions, fostering a broader ecosystem of learning and innovation.

Commenting on the partnership, Sanaa Ouahmane, CEO of AWR Mobility Services, stated: “At AWR Mobility Services, we are deeply committed to fostering the next generation of automotive experts by providing immersive, real-world training opportunities. This collaboration with HCT aligns with our vision of driving industry excellence and empowering young talent with the skills necessary for a thriving career in the mobility sector.”
Arif Shaikh, General Manager – Autotrust Service, added: “This new branch is a milestone for Autotrust as we extend our expertise beyond traditional service centres and into the academic sphere. By offering HCT students access to hands-on technical training, we are shaping a workforce that is both skilled and industry-ready.”

(HCT representative) from Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) also shared their enthusiasm for the initiative: “HCT is proud to collaborate with Autotrust to provide our students with direct exposure to industry-leading automotive technologies. This facility enhances our practical learning environment and strengthens our mission of equipping students with the skills needed for the future workforce.”

To celebrate the launch, students had the opportunity to explore the latest automotive technologies, participate in test drives, and receive exclusive giveaways. The facility will function as a fully operational Autotrust service centre, ensuring that students and faculty alike can benefit from its professional-grade infrastructure while also serving external customers.

By integrating education with real-world industry practices, AWR Group and HCT reaffirm their commitment to shaping a highly skilled workforce, advancing vocational education, and setting new benchmarks for industry-academia collaborations in the UAE.
