AWR Group marked its participation at Make It In The Emirates 2026 with a showcase of two businesses from our portfolio: Sineo Packaging and Armela Farms. Held from 4th – 7th May at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, the exhibition brought together businesses, government entities, manufacturers, investors, and industry stakeholders under one of the UAE’s most prominent platforms for industrial growth and local production.
Representing two distinct but complementary areas of capability, Sineo Packaging and Armela Farms highlighted AWR Group’s growing presence across sectors linked to sustainable manufacturing, food production, supply chain resilience, and UAE-based enterprise.
Across the four-day exhibition, the shared stand welcomed more than 200 visitors, creating opportunities for conversations with customers, partners, business owners, and stakeholders from across the local market.
Strengthening the UAE’s local production landscape
AWR Group’s presence at MIITE reflected the depth of capability being built across its portfolio, particularly in areas that support the UAE’s national ambitions around industrial development, food security, sustainability, and resilient supply chains.
Sineo Packaging showcased its sustainable packaging solutions designed for a wide range of sectors, including F&B, farming, coffee shops, restaurants, cafés, dark kitchens, catering businesses, and hospitality. Its participation generated strong interest from visitors exploring packaging solutions that respond to evolving market needs, while reinforcing Sineo’s role as a UAE-based packaging partner for businesses seeking practical, adaptable, and responsible solutions.
Armela Farms brought forward its role in advancing local food production through high-quality, locally grown produce and controlled-environment agriculture. Through its presence at MIITE, Armela engaged with individual visitors, restaurant representatives, and business owners interested in accessing its products through available platforms, while strengthening awareness of its contribution to the UAE’s food resilience landscape.
Commercial conversations and cross-portfolio value
The exhibition also created a platform for meaningful business engagement.
For Sineo Packaging, participation supported potential client discussions with prominent hospitality, farming, and F&B businesses, with follow-up meetings planned in the coming days. The business also progressed a strategic commercial opportunity with a leading UAE food and agriculture entity to supply packaging for an upcoming premium product line, covering five packaging SKUs. Initial alignment also took place with the entity’s appointed marketing agency on timelines and communication protocols to support smooth execution.
The shared booth format further strengthened visibility between Sineo Packaging and Armela Farms, reinforcing the potential for cross-portfolio collaboration across packaging, agriculture, and food production.
A platform for visibility, dialogue, and future opportunity
MIITE 2026 provided a valuable platform to position Sineo Packaging and Armela Farms within the wider national conversation around local production and UAE-made capability.
For AWR Group, the participation supported brand visibility, commercial engagement, and stronger storytelling around two portfolio businesses contributing to sectors of growing strategic importance. It also created an opportunity to highlight how different parts of the Group’s portfolio are responding to market needs through practical solutions, sector expertise, and locally anchored capability.
As the UAE continues to accelerate its industrial and production ambitions, the presence of businesses such as Sineo Packaging and Armela Farms reflects the role of private sector enterprise in supporting the country’s long-term growth agenda.
