At AW Rostamani Group, we believe culture is more than just a buzzword. It’s a living, evolving force - not shaped in boardrooms, but forged through everyday actions, decisions, and connections. It’s brought to life by the people who live it and guided by the values we share.
When we talk about what it’s like to work here, we mean the real dynamic experience - how people collaborate, how leaders show up, how decisions are made, and how we respond to challenges. Our culture doesn’t stand still; it grows, adapts, and strengthens as our values are lived through our people.
That’s why we recently evolved our values to better reflect who we are today and where we’re heading. Our three core values are more than just principles: they’re a way of being.
We Act with Integrity
This value is the foundation of trust at AWR Group. It defines how we show up with sincerity, respect, and accountability. It reflects the legacy we are proud to carry forward, while guiding us to make ethical and considered choices. Integrity means doing the right thing even when no one is watching. It means owning our actions, being transparent, and treating everyone with fairness and dignity.
We Are Purposeful
Purpose gives our work meaning. At AWR Group, we strive to create lasting progress for our people, our customers, and our communities. Being purposeful means taking considered steps towards a better future, with a clear sense of direction and intention. We build businesses that not only perform but enrich lives from those who work with us to those we serve.
We Are Enterprising
This is the spirit that drives us forward. To be enterprising is to be bold, agile, and open to change. It means sparking new ideas, encouraging experimentation, and growing together as we learn. It’s not about always getting it right the first time; it’s about having the courage to try, and the curiosity to keep moving.
Together, these values create the conditions for a thriving culture, one that enables performance, fosters innovation, and supports people to do their best work. But how do we bring this culture to life across 3,300+ employees, 65+ nationalities, and four generations of talent? We do it through deliberate action and shared commitment.
Our Culture Ambassadors programme is one of the most powerful examples. These individuals are not just advocates for our values; they are living embodiments of them. Embedded across our businesses, they nurture the AWR Group culture from the inside out. Whether it’s leading conversations, shaping behaviour, or influencing positive change, our ambassadors are culture in action.
We also invest heavily in learning, growth, and internal mobility. Through AWR Academy, we offer more than 10,000 unique courses tailored for how people learn today. Our 449 learning programmes have supported over 1,500 participants since 2017, because we believe the best way to grow a business is to grow its people.
And we consistently measure our progress. In our most recent employee engagement survey, Empower, 92% of our employees participated to share their feedback and ensure we are on the right track. That’s not just a number. That’s a signal of commitment, trust, and a shared belief in what we’re building together.
We’re especially proud of our 200+ UAE Nationals who are not only growing with us but leading with us. For us, Emiratisation is more than a mandate; it’s a mission to build a future that is representative, inclusive, and that empowers generation next.
